City of Armagh Northern Ireland Supporters Club Raise £10,000 for The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust
Presentation of a cheque prior to the club's AGM on 6th March 2025
Biggest fundraising effort in the 30 year history of The City of Armagh Northern Ireland Supporters Club raises £10,000 for KBRT

There was a tremendous sense of pride for The City of Armagh Northern Ireland Supporters Club last night (6th March), when Chairman Michael Calvert presented the wonderful Colin Bell of the The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust a cheque for £10,000 before the club’s AGM at the The Hole In The Wall Bar Armagh.
This was the result of the club’s fundraising efforts over the last few years that culminated in their big 30th Anniversary Dinner in early February at Armagh City Hotel. They were delighted to have Colin and Eithne with them as guests of honour on the night and said “it was truly inspirational to hear about KBRT and their incredible work with across the island of Ireland and beyond. To date, the trust has helped over 1700 families in Ireland bring their loved ones back home again. Their work is invaluable.”
The Club would like to say “a huge thank you to all of our members, friends and supporters whose contributions made this possible. This is the biggest donation in our 30 year history as a club and it is hard to imagine any better cause, as KBRT has been there for Northern Ireland National Team fans and their families in the toughest of times.”
KBRT posted on Facebook earlier today… “So grateful to the City of Armagh Northern Ireland Supporters Club who not only had us as guests of honour at their Dinner Dance but who also had a quiz for KBRT. Tonight they presented me with a cheque for a marvellous £10,000! GAWA!”

About KBRT - The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the body (bodies) of loved one(s) who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland.
KBRT was founded out of a family tragedy when, in June 2013, Kevin Bell died suddenly in New York. Following an outpouring of support from Kevin’s friends, family and colleagues, a significant amount of funds were raised to repatriate his remains back to Ireland. As a permanent legacy to Kevin, the Bell family decided to use the funds to establish a charity to help other families who find themselves in a similar situation. Help comes in the form of financial support as well as advice and guidance on getting the remains of loved ones home as soon as possible.
KBRT is a volunteer organisation, led by Colin Bell and a team of volunteer Trustees. KBRT is regulated by the Charity Commission in Northern Ireland (NIC100314) and Irish Charity Regulator (20102937).
