The Pinkertons Irish Open Arm Wrestling Competition 2025 at Armagh City Hotel
Saturday 18th January sees the Pinkertons Irish Open Arm Wrestling Competition 2025 hosted in the Armagh City Hotel.
It is FREE entry for spectators again this year. All Welcome!
We already have confirmations of Athletes coming in from Europe and the Mainland UK. This combined with all the Clubs in Ireland sending big teams, this comp looks to be our biggest one yet. Noticeably the ladies class looks to have great numbers competing to become the Pinkertons Irish open champion of 2025.
We may also see an Overalls competition this year if time allows.
Weigh in on the Friday evening from 6.00 - 9.00pm then on Saturday morning from 9.00am - 11.00am sharp. (If you miss weigh in you will be placed in the +105kg class if we have time add you.) There will be a referee and safety briefing then the competition starts at 12.00pm sharp.
Entry fee will be £40.00 (€50.00) for both arms or £25.00 (€30.00 for PAA Members).
Weight classes are the same for the Pros as the Novice pullers. (Shown on poster). Any unknown Arm wrestlers must be verified by a Club or a Pro so they are deemed safe to take part.
A massive thank you to our sponsor Pinkertons of Armagh for supporting us again this year. We look forward to seeing everyone at the event.

Przemyslaw Ciba is our first confirmed Professional -95kg athlete for the Pinkertons Irish Open 2025.
The 2 time IFA European Champion Przemyslaw flew in direct from Poland last year to Win the Irish open on Left and Right arm. No doubt he has his sights set on doing the same again and becoming a 2 time double arm Irish Open Champion.
Can anyone in Ireland or the UK stop him at -95kg? We look forward to finding out on the 18th January at the Armagh City Hotel.
Przemyslaw is pictured above with his brother Jaroslaw on the right at last years event. Jaroslaw showed good potential in a tough class. He will be taking part in the Novice class again this year.
